Very hardy and adaptable palm-like tree, that can be grown outdoors in tropical and warm temperate climates and indoors in cool areas. It was reputedly eaten by dinosaurs millions of years ago. It has beautiful stiff fronds with fine leaves that grow in a rosette from the centre of the plant. May form more than one trunk. Can be grown in sunny or part shade position. Will grow to approx 1.2m over a 10 year period. Wind tolerant.
