Description: Agapanthus Purple Cloud is one of the darkest pendulous flowering agapanthus available. An impressive cultivar both in and out of flower as a plant. It is a large impressive agapanthus with leaves to 50 cm long and 4 cm wide. Flowers: Dark violet blue pendulous flowers on long stems from 1.5 to 2 m in height. Uses: Ideal for borders around gardens or driveways or as a specimen plant in a pot. Growing Guide: Prefers a full sun to semi-shaded location. An easy to grow hardy plant that thrives in most conditions and requires minimum maintenance. Companion planting: A great companion agapanthus planted behind Queen Mum or inter-planted for impact. Problems: Few problems encountered but excessive heat and poor drainage may rot plants and root systems.

Dianella caerulea (Paroo Lily) is a small evergreen, tufting perennial with strap like leaves, compressed into flat fans, forming spreading patches. Flowers and fruit appear over summer, the flowers varying in colour between light and dark blue to mauve, with fruit being a rich translucent purple or cobalt, releasing an indigo stain when squeezed. Keep well watered and mulched. Very hardy and long-lived once established. Grows in full sun and well drained soil. Grows to a height of 0.2-1m and a width of 0.3-2.5m.

Aranda™ is a compact, dwarf, cane-less Dianella with upright to slightly arching deep green foliage. Aranda™ has very tight rhizome growth with a small spread. Flowers are deep blue held just above the foliage. It has a high drought tolerance. An easy to grow, compact tidy landscape gardening plant. If you want a Dianella to stay in a tidy clump, Aranda™ is an excellent choice. Available from Foliage First growers. Dimensions: 250 to 300mm tall x 350mm wide. Aranda™ is a cane-less dwarf Dianella, with a more or less clumping habit. It has smooth deep green semi-gloss, gently arching foliage. Flowers: Spring and summer. Deep blue coloured flower buds and star shaped flowers held among to slightly above the foliage, followed by purple berries. Aspect: Full sun to 75% shade. Grows well in coastal humidity and inland climates. Full frost tolerance yet to be tested, it has shown evergreen frost hardiness to -5°C in Windsor NSW, with only some leaf discolouration. Soil Types: Sandy loam, clay loam, free draining clay soils. Performs exceptionally in improved garden soils. Mulch Type: No problems with any well composted, processed mulch type. Uses: Ideal tidy border plant, very compact plant for mass planting.
